Geocache Description:

This is a fairly easy cache by the Tour de Austria team. It is a nice little hike of about 2 km and if you continue following the trail (not necessary) it will be about 5 km.

This cache was placed to release the travel bug "Anna the Ape" (TB9F29) into the wide world. That's why this cache is one of the easiest yet.

The hike isn't long, but it takes you to a beautiful area, well worth visiting.

The coordinates above bring you to the small village of Hinterthal. Here you can park your car and admire the church, which will give you the first answer to the first question.

In the winter it can snow a lot in these mountains. Every year lots of ski-fans visit this area. The snow height can be quite high.
In which year did the snow height almost reach to the roof of the church? (=YEAR)
Go to the following location: N47° 24.(YEAR-958) E012° 58.(YEAR-909).

At these coordinates, look at the signs. Where does road 33 lead to?
It is the road to:

-Bertgenhütte, then go to N47° 25.653 E012° 59.810
-Poschalm, then go to N47° 25.115 E012° 59.878
-Kieferwald, then go to N47° 25.349 E012° 59.551
-Willi Schwaigerweg, then go to N47° 24.991 E012° 57.739

Do not cross the bridge at this moment! Go to the coordinates you found. Enjoy the view of this beautiful miracle of nature.

In which year this area became a monument of nature (Naturdenkmal)(=YEAR)? What is the length (Länge) of this monument (=LENTGH)? The cache can be found at these coordinates:

N47° 25.(YEAR - 1592) E012° 59.(LENGTH + 448)

The cache is a white semi-transparent box with a blue cover put in a dark grey plastic bag. Happy hunting!
