Geocache Description:

The Giant mountains on the Czech-Polish border owe their name to an old legend and not just because of the height of these small range of mountains. The legend namely says that the giant, called Rübenzahl, started throwing rocks and boulders when he flew into a rage. As you can see, this giant must have flown into many of those rages during his life. The final result is impressive and the landscape is really worth visiting. This cache is hidden in Czech, but it could have been hidden in Poland as well. The border is only a few meters farther. The so-called "path of friendship" on the crest of these Giant mountains really runs for kilometers on the border of these two countries. Here during 100 meters in Poland, there during 500 meters in Czech, and vice versa. Along this magnificent path our "Rubenzalh" cache lies hidden. You can reach the cache by means of several footpaths. Of course, these paths are not fit for cars and baby buggy's. There are no dangerous situations and no extra tools are needed. The distance to this cache depends on the place where you will park your car or on the place where the bus stop (public transport) is situated.

The Woudlopers from Belgium wish you good luck at the search of this cache.

Note on cache maintenance: we've asked our Czech friends, at whose place we spent our holidays, to take care for our cache and they would like to do that for us
