The cache is hidden under a small rock overhang near the old fort.
The cache is located on the Cogman's Kloof road near Montagu, Western Cape. Park at the picnic spot at S33 48.178
and E020 05.745 and cross the road to find the path leading up to the old fort on top of the rock arch. Cogman's Kloof pass was built by Thomas Baines from 1875 to 1877. In 1899 the English built the fort to control access through the pass during the Anglo-Boer War.The cache is hidden to the north of the fort near the top of a koppie in a small rock overhang.

Soldier to guard the cache.
