This virtual cache is located on the summti of Mt. Hood. Since it is considered wilderness a virtual cache is all I could do.
This is an awesome peak to climb and not to difficult as long as you have had some mountaineering experience (ice axe, crampons, ropework) or you can hire a guide. We did this peak for my dads 62nd birthday on July 20th, 2003 reaching the summit at 2:50 a.m. (fantastic view of Portland city lights).
To log a visit on this cache you need to tell me what man-made object is still located at the summit and you must post a picture of either yourself, climbing party, or the view from the top. E-mail me to post your log and let us know the route you took to reach this site.
