Mile High Cache, ok it's 30 feet short! This cache is in the Lolo Pass area. Park at the new visitor center parking lot. Lewis and Clark nicknamed this area "The Glade". This was a favorite stopping area for them. Enjoy the center and all the history that goes with it.
Cache is in a white 4" round PVC pipe about 12" long. There is a noticeable trail leading to the cache area. As always take care in protecting the ground cover and protect all plant growth. Please cover cache up as you found it. There are a lot of people in this area but I chose an area that can't be seen from the trails.
