Located in the Dog Canyon camp area of the Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
My son and I created a virtual geocache in the Guadalupe Mountains, best reached using the Dog Canyon trailhead. To further emphasize the Dog Canyon area, we created this geocache. This also gives you something fun to do if you arrive too late to start on the trail to the mountain. Anything much later than daybreak is too late during warm months.
Since it is in a National Park a virtual cache is appropriate. This one is on a stop of the "interpretive" Indian Meadows trail. While you can stop after finding the cache, we encourage you to go on and enjoy the trail, to learn something of the unique environment.
To record a find, email me the stop number where the virtual cache is located. Please don't give it away in the log.
