Geocache Description:

NOTE: AUG. 21, 2005. CACHE HAS BEEN REPLACED AND THE COORDS HAVE CHANGED SLIGHTLY. THE HINT HAS ALSO BEEN UPDATED. The boulders in the area have been moved and/or removed and the original cache was either trashed or buried.

Only accessible by 4 wheel drive, boat or an extremely long walk (not recommended). This is a beautiful location, Enjoy!


Cache is NOW a Lock & Lock with the usual swag.

You have to do some rock climbing so where some good footwear. It's not too hard, but it's not recommenced for small children. Usually not very many people on this side, except some fisherman (and fisherladies), but watch out for PWDLFSITW. PS- If your not familiar with driving on the beach, you'll want take a lot of air out of your tires. Take them down to about 15 - 20 lbs. Don't forget to remember how much air was in them ;).

You will also need a permit to drive on the beach. You can get one right at the entrance of Smith Point. It's only about $75, and it is well worth every penny. You will be able to use it at many Suffolk beaches & parks.
