This is the first of our nature trail / scenic view caches. These caches lead you to beautiful spots in nature and they are not meant to be easy catches. The things to trade also have a special theme which is different with each cache. This one is all about books.
Read and Refresh is a two step multicache that leads you to a place where you can trade pocket books--Pocket Book Library. If you want to take a book from the stash we ask you kindly to bring a pocket size book along with you and put it in the cache box.
Be prepared to do some hiking in the woods. The whole trip may take 2–4 hours depending on your skills. It’s also a good idea to reserve enough time as the place is worth having a picnic after finding the stash.
You need:
• rubber boots or waterproof hiking boots
• flashlight (a must)
• pocket book to trade
• swimming suit and a towel (for your pleasure, not obligatory)
• something to eat and drink
The coordinates bring you to a micro cache which gives you more instructions. Following the instructions and being persevering you should be able to find the Pocket Book Library but if you still can not find the cache the encrypted hint should lead you there. The micro cache is NOT on the ground.
When arriving at the center of Kirkkonummi, choose the road to the North of the church that has a sign “Kela 5”. The following coordinates take you to the end of another road where you can park your car or bike: 60N07.862 24E22.642. If you find a small lake on your right side a few hundred meters from the place where you parked your vehicle, you are on the right path. The rest is up to you to navigate, but this we can tell you: You have to cross a swamp to get to the micro stash.
Please, hide the cache well after finding it.

Tämä on ensimmäinen kätkö metsäpolku/näköalapaikka-sarjassamme. Nämä kätköt vievät sinut luonnonkauniisiin paikkoihin eikä niiden ole tarkoitus olla aivan helppoja. Kätkötavarat eivät myöskään ole sekalaisia vaan aina tietyn teeman mukaisia kätköstä riippuen. Tämä kätkö on täynnä kirjoja.
Read and Refresh (Lue ja loikoile) on kaksiosainen monikätkö, joka vie sinut Pokkarikirjastoon. Jos olet aikeissa ottaa jotakin kätköstä, tuo mukanasi pokkarikokoinen kirja, jonka voit puolestasi laittaa kätköön.
Valmistaudu kävelemään metsäpolulla hyvän matkaa. Koko matkaan kuluu 2–4 tuntia riippuen taidoistasi. Sinun on hyvä varata riittävästi aikaa jo senkin takia, että alue on retkeilemisen ja piknikin arvoinen muutenkin.
Tarvitset:
• kumisaappaat tai vettäpitävät vaelluskengät
• taskulampun (välttämätön)
• pokkarikokoisen kirjan kätköä varten
• uimapuvun ja pyyhkeen (vain omaksi iloksesi)
• jotakin purtavaa ja juotavaa.
Ylläolevat koordinaatit osoittavat mikrokätkön paikan, joka sisältää lisäohjeita. Seuraamalla ohjeita ja olemalla sitkeä etsinnässäsi, löydät varmasti Pokkarikirjaston mutta ellet onnistu löytämään sitä, allaoleva salakielinen viesti auttaa sinua siinä. Mikrokätkö EI OLE maassa.
Kun saavut Kirkkonummen keskustaan, aja kirkon pohjoispuolelta lähtevää tietä länteen päin. Risteyksessä on viitta, joss lukee Kela 5. Seuraavat koordinaatit vievät sinut erään toisen tien päähän, minne voit jättää autosi/pyöräsi: 60N07.862 24E22.642. Jos näet pienen järven oikealla puolellasi muutaman sadan metrin päässä siitä, mihin jätit kulkuneuvosi, olet oikealla polulla. Loppumatkasta sinun tulee suoriutua itse, mutta sen verran voimme paljastaa, että joudut ylittämän suon päästäksesi mikrokätkölle.
