Geocache Description:

When I'm up, I can't get down.

Unlike other caches, you can only do this one in your car or other wheeled vehicle. This could be an advantage, given the prevailing Ayrshire weather.
Take the coast road from Ayr and heading south-east down the hill, bring your car to a halt on the road at the coordinates. Release the handbrake, and the car will slowly roll backwards - uphill! You might just need to give it a wee nudge to get it started.
In the layby close by, there is an inscribed granite rock with an explanation for all of this. Also, in the inscription, are two heights above Ordnance Datum, those of Croy Railway Viaduct and Craigencroy Glen. To claim the cache, please email me with the details of both heights.
Please don't claim the cache unless you actually come to this remarkable place and experience the illusion for yourself.
