Geocache Description:

Quick cache at beautiful Long Point.

Renowned Long Point Lighthouse stands nearly 300 feet above sea level, a favourite gathering point for summer tourists given the view of sea, whales, and bergs. Locals claim it to be the best place on the planet from which to view bergs from the land, and that's a claim that's hard to refute.

The parking lot (drive through Crow Head) provides a good place to start to look for this cache. It's a very short trek - this cache was placed with a visitor in mind - it accentuates the experience, rather than being the experience in and of itself.

The cache contains:

- a pottery-made coffee mug
- Fox 40 Whistle
- Stickers and tatoos (temporary)
- $20 gift certificate for the outstanding Anchor Inn Restaurant nearby
