This impressive old building was "Yerington Grammer School #9". The building was built at great expense and to grand scale by the town of Yerington in 1912.
Located within the city limits of Yerington NV it is no longer used as a School but has the Yerington Cultural Center in it. It is included on the web site for Lyon county as a place of cultural and historic interest.
