Geocache Description:

An easy one - go get it!

Yet another 6DogNight cache on the southeast side of the Jemez Mountains. Take Interstate 25 north from Albuquerque to exit 259 (Santo Domingo exit.) Head towards the town of Cochiti Lake. Continue through the town and past where the road turns to dirt. Follow the signs to Dixon's Apple Farm. Once past the parking area for Dixon's, continue up the unimproved road. Follow this road all the way into Cochiti Canyon (do not turn off the main track at any point!) Once in the canyon you will probably experience intermitent GPS reception so be patient. The cache is in an Altoids tin tucked away in a vesicle in the rock.

Please note: you will need a high-clearance vehicle to drive to the cache. A higher-than-average clearance passenger car can make it with cautious driving. Also, the last 100 feet to the cache require care and thought - so please use your best judgement as to whether-or-not any small children should accompany you to find it! Finally, my GPS accuracy was 40 feet when noting the coordinates, so take this into consideration when searching.
