Een lange strandwandeling. A long walk on the beach.
Het "Huske op e slenk" of "Huske op e hoek" is een in ere hersteld drenkelingenhuisje op het strand van de Boschplaat. Schipbreukelingen konden hier in het verleden, beschermd tegen de elementen, schuilen en wachten op hulp. In de op palen gebouwde hut vonden de drenkelingen een kist met warme dekens, water en stokvis.
Deze cache is zwaar om te zoeken maar eenvoudig te vinden. Je kan lopen over het strand of over de Boschplaat. Met de fiets kan je een (zwaar) pad over de Boschplaat nemen. Of je gaat met een huifkar tocht mee de Boschplaat op. Al met al ligt de cache zo'n 10 km van de bewoonde wereld. Bij paal 18 vind je het laatste (op de terugweg eerste) strandpaviljoen, het Heartbreak Hotel, open vanaf pasen. Gegeven coordinaten brengen je in de buurt van deze virtuele cache.

The "Huske op e slenk" or "Huske op e hoek" is a recovered safe place for shipwrecked people on the beach of the Boschplaat. In former days, shipwrecked could, protected against the elements, hide here and wait for help to come. In the bunk, that is build on poles they could find warm blankets, water and stockfish (hake).
This cache is hard to seek but easy to find.
You can walk the beach or across the Boschplaat. By bike you can take the (heavy) path across the Boschplaat. Or you take a "Huifkar tocht" (hooded cart trip) to the Boschplaat. The cache is located about 10 km from the civilized world. Nearby Paal 18 you will find the last (or first when returning) restaurant, the Heartbreak Hotel, open from Easter.
