Hidden for the Spring Picnic event on 5-3-2003 and is expected to become a permanent geocache in this park. You can park at the Goff's Folly trailhead by the gaurdrail on Jake's Landing Road. Parking coordinates= 39 11.500N / 074 51.227W
Don't even think about trying this cache if:
You are bringing children.
You are alone.
You dont like snakes and spiderwebs.
You don't like 1.5 mile round trip hikes.
You don't have a change of clothes and shoes.
You don't want insect hitchhikers going home with you.
Goff's Folly Trail is a one mile each way and it gets narrower and narrower as you go. I could only make it .80 miles before the trail became impassable. It is an official State Forest hiking trail, but it is not maintained. In the summer time the greenheads and mosquitos will be waiting for you to get out of your car and if the ticks don't get you the spiderwebs will. The cache container is a 2 gallon plastic see-through box loaded with helpfull things you may need to get back to your car.
Seriously don't bring kids down the trail with you and make sure you have some Deet or similar insect/tick repellent on your body before you start your trek.
Oh yeah! Beware of the mud puddles too!!!
