Geocache Description:

The cache is a small peanut butter container covered in camouflage tape. Hopfully, it will last a little longer then its predecessor.

Chimney Rock (2003) is a replacement of mtnbiker99x's Chimney Rock cache.

The cache is hidden near the Chimney Rock in Washington Valley Park near Martinsville. There are several ways to get to it. You can hike or mountain bike from either Gibride Rd or the main parking area on Newmans Ln. If you're looking for a more leisurely stroll, or just looking for a grab and dash cache, drive to the parking lot on Miller Ln. The terrain rating is based on the walk from this point; tack another star on if you take the long hike from Newmans Ln.

Be sure to pay a visit to the Hawk lookout and the 'Chimney Rock' at N40° 34.934, W74° 33.364. Buttermilk Falls is located about ½ mile north from the lookout.

Don't forget your binoculars!
