Continuing along with a theme that I started about a year ago. I present the second in the "Around The Lake" series, but this time its at around Lake Burley Griffin. As a kid I spent many a weekend on my bike riding around and exploring all the nooks and crannies of Lake Burley Griffin. So now its your turn to follow in my bike tracks and discover some of those places for your self. The cache is a 7 point multi cache. The first 6 are little metal markers screwed to copper log posts or the like. The metal marker is a piece of metal 1cm wide and 7 cms long. On each piece of metal is two, four digit numbers . The first number is the south co-ord and the second is the east co-ord. The four digit number is the second minute point plus the 3 decimal points below it. For example the co-ord for the first point 35deg 18.021S 149deg 04.391 would look like 8021 4391 The Deg point and the most signifiacant minute point stay the same the whole way around the lake so I have not listed them. The last point is the cache. A clear plastic container with just a few goodies. Good luck and happy hunting.
