This cache was placed by the Voortrekkers (VWS Kursus 2003) as part of their camping activities in this area. It is next to a public road accessible to all.
Hierdie cache is versteek as deel van die Thaba Voortrekker kamp se bedrywighede. As deel van die Veldwerk Spesialisaie kursus word kaartlees werk insluitende die gebruik van 'n GPS aangebied. Die kursus gangers het gevolglik hierdie cache begrawe om hul vaardighede te beoefen, maar ook om deel te word van die spel Geocaching. Die cache is naby genoeg vir iemand wat ‘n draai by die Hartebeespoortdam maak, om dit te gaan soek met slegs ‘n klein ompad.
Ons het besluit om die volgende leidrade te verskaf:
1. Die cache is langs die pad versteek.
2. Dit is bo jou kop.
3. Ons het gaan sterre kyk.

This cache was placed as part of the actions undertaken by the Thaba Voortrekker camp. The Voortrekkers is more or less the Afrikaans version of the well-known Boy Scouts. As part of the map reading skills studied at the camp, the use of a GPS is also taught. The course members of course VWS 2003 had to place this cache as part of their course work but also to start partaking in the game of Geocaching. The cache can be found by anybody visiting Hartebeespoort dam, as it is only a small detour from there.
The only tips we are giving is this:
1. The cache is next to a public road.
2. It is above your head.
3. We went stargazing.
