Geocache Description:

A favourite walking area in Budapest, Hungary is the Citypark. That's why we have hidden our first cache here.

The area is very frequented therefore a traditional box would not have been safe here. Hence the virtual cache. This is an easy walk to find the location, a perfect candidate for an after-lunch activity on a Sunday. There is an area in the Citypark called Pine-wood where you will find the red marmoreal gravestone. There is only one word carved on it: FUIT (lived). A lawyer, Jakab Horváth is burried here who lived in Pest some 200 years ago. He was the defence councel in the Martinovics case, which was a significant historical event in Hungary. He left his wealth by will to the City under the condition that he would be anonymously burried under the trees of the Citypark.

You will have to certify your finding the cache by letting us know the year carved on the grave. I wish you a pleasant time under the shady trees of the Citypark!
