The Rangers have done a killer job maintaining this popular hot spring and putting up some great information around the area. The path system here has some great info about hot springs and their origin. Please stay on the path here as the ground is very fragile. To log this cache you must email me the temperature of the water as it leaves the ground at the cache location (leave the thermometer at home, the answer is posted on a sign, although it would be interesting to test how right they are). There can be a lot of traffic here in the wee hours of the night, especially on weekends, but if you enjoy hot springs these are very nice. Also an excellent place to cache in, trash out.
