Ngaambul: As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Its only one way...so we think that adds half a difficulty point

We have been wanting to place a cache up here for ages. We used to come up here when we were much younger on our motorcycles. In those days the area was more of an out of the way place and it was Ok to use it as your own motocross circuit. Times have changed but the view is still the same. We know of only one other view of the city that is this good that you can drive a car right up to and have no trees blocking your view. We hope to place a cache there at some stage too.
The unique thing about this place is that you can also see planes landing and taking off from Perth Airport. Seeing such large planes lower than you flying past is a bit un-nerving. (The cache is at 180 meters). We would recommend you take binoculars with you as the airport is still about 10km from this vantage point. This place would also be interesting to visit at night, however if you choose to do this make sure you tread carefully as you could take a tumble on the rocks.
We have placed the cache in the rocks and near the back of the cluster up the top. We hid it well under another rock so you will have to move a flat cover stone to find the cache. There aren’t many stones that are movable so this would be a good clue as to what you should be looking for.
There are 2 places you could park depending on whether you wish to approach from above or below the cache. That will be your choice but there is a small place to stop if you use the above choice.
We placed a few things in her of interest including a Mapsend QLD edition (for Magellan GPS units) and a pen that lights up when you write. And the usual stocking fillers.
Hope you like it. Lyn Pat and Nathan
