On the much less travelled side of the Mexican island of Cozumel, a hunt for this micro cache will lead you to an amazing view of the sea!
On our last day in Cozumel, we decided to rent a car and journey from the "developed" west side of the island to the windswept east shore.
Parking is easy, and a short paved walkway takes you up to one of the highest points on the island (a whopping 40 feet above sea level) for a great view.
Buy yourself a drink, and follow the trails and your GPS away from the other folks there to enjoy the view and you'll find this micro-cache (a 35mm film cartridge) with a little bit of effort. This is a "sign-only" cache -- bring your own pen, sign the log book and replace the cache. (Please replace it with care -- and use a few sticks to keep it wedged in place for the next cacher.)
After you've signed the log, sit down on one of the numerous chairs and watch the typically active sea pound the shoreline. You'll be glad you took the time to leave San Miguel for Cozumel's "outback."
