Betwixt and Between
" Neither one nor the other, but somewhere between the two. "
Located at N45 W75 near Ingleside, Ontario, this virtual geocache is unique for 2 reasons.
- Its unique numerical location - the point at which a line of latitude and a line of longitude meet (sometimes referred to as a confluence).
- Its unique physical/geographical location - located on the 45 degree parallel, this area is known as a theoretical 'halfway point' between the Equator and the North Pole (complete with signs to prove it!).
And hence the title of this geocache, 'Betwixt and Between'.
The official 'halfway point' signs indicating the area's claim to fame can be found on county road 14 just south of Hwy. 401 (right next to Kraft Foods).

The easiest and most accessible location to start is N 44° 59.858 W 074° 59.932 which is at the dead end sign on Ault Drive.
Finally, in order to get credit for a find, there are some criteria that each geocacher must meet.
- Make your way to the waypoint - N45 W75.
- Take a picture of your GPS reading (this will be used to confirm your find).
- Take a picture of your surroundings.
- Log your find, and post your pictures.
