NOJ 12 'Sjögle' is a tiny steam
locomotive. It was built by Munktells Mekaniska Werkstad in
Eskilstuna, Sweden, in 1890 as works number 25. It was built for
the private standard gauge railway Nässjö - Oskarshamns
Järnväg, a small regional railway in Småland. It's
of the 2-4-0T type which means it has a pony truck in front of two
powered axles. The T stands for 'tank' indicating the locomotive
carries all coal and water on the locomotive and not in a separate
tender which is usually the case for bigger locomotives. The weight
of Sjögle is 26.7 tons inclusive supplies.
Look for a 35 mm film canister with magnets
attached.
