Geocache Description:

A 10-minute walk in the forests of Sopron-Mountains. Can be approached by bike as well. Popular picnic place and ideal excursion ground with children.

A lovely pair of lakes with an affluent spring close to Sopron. Since it can be approached on a trail even by car from the last houses of Sopron (Bánfalva), I specified terrain as 2. It can be reached on tourist trails as well, where the terrain might go up to 3 depending on weather and route.
The lakes are connected by a small stream. Some well-cylinders dug vertically in the lake bottom regulate the water level of the upper lake. On the cylinders there are holes, where water flows down to a horizontal pipe, then through a stream to the lower lake. Where the two pipes meet you can cool your beer in the summer, while children can play in the pipe climbing upstream and coming out completely soaked.
Beside the lake you find campfire-places and above the lakes a slightly windy plateau the Faber-meadow, which altogether make the location a perfect family picnic place. Since originally we did not mean to hide a cache, we made the thing virtual.
The first part of password is the number of holes in the cylinder (on the uppermost row and regardless of how many of them are plugged up).
The second part of password is the fifth word of the Bella Lajos memorial at location N 47° 39,814' E 16° 31,799'. This point can be reached at the red triangle tourist trail fro the valley. Close to second point you find the Várhely watchtower N 47° 39,985' E 16° 31,945', a popular excursion goal of soproners.
Have good fun!
