Was a traditional Ammo box (until it got pinched) hidden in beautiful Simon's Wood. Now a bit smaller and more subtle.
Cache was originally placed by Parcan / Seeker_101. It was then maintained by Blue Beans. It is now maintained by AmayaTom. Unfortunately the original ammo can went missing in early 2021 after a wood clearance and has now been replaced with a more subtle hide.
Park at Simons Wood Car Park , which is a free National Trust car park off Wellingtonia Avenue. There are several other caches in this area. The GPS coverage is at best erratic around here, so you will need to be patient. If you find yourself on a track with an 7-trunked Sweet Chestnut, you are on the right path and not too far from the location. Good luck with the cache!
