It's... Monty Python #1 Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Artemis: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thank you
Artemis

NOTE: Please do not log any travel bugs in an unlisted cache. Travel Bugs dropped in unlisted caches can give away your cache location before it is listed. Simply drop the TB into the cache after listing has been done.

[red]NOTE: do not reply by leaving a note on this cache. I am not notified if a note is posted to this cache. If you wish to respond to this message from the geocaching.com mail bot. Go to your cache page and e-mail Artemis from the log there or email me directly at Artemis.approver@gmail.com, referencing the cache URL's, or GCxxxx number. [/red]

Geocache Description:

The Co-ordinates above are False!!!
Yes...This is a Quest! There are 4 stages before the final Goal. This is a Trivia Quest inspired by a group of British Actors from the 60's & 70's. The stages are in Phoenix, The Goal is Somewhere Else...! (Remember to be Too Silly!!)

For the start of your Quest, You may want to visit the false co-ordinates. You get a lovely view of Camelot to the north...But you wouldn't want to go there..It Is a Silly Place!
This is the format... You will get co-ordinates with letters. To determine the correct numbers you will have to answer a trivia question from the Groups' TV shows or movies. The number is in front of the Correct Answer (5!!..no..3!!!), then on to the next stage... And now for Something Completely Different!!

N 33 30.6A8' W111 57.BC8'

A. What Breed was the Ex-Parrot?
2. Brazilian Green
4. Norwegian Blue
6. Reese's Variegated

B. What is a Notlob?
5. Short for Not a Lobotomy
0. The Palindrome for Bolton
9. The Synonym for Ipswitch

C. When is Eric not a Bee?
6. When he's an half a bee
4. When he's a free bee
2. When he's an Ex-bee

So now you get It (nudge, nudge!). The first 4 are in Phoenix, within 30 ft of paths and trails in high traffic areas, be discreet. Some are hard, some are easy. You Do Not Have To Park Illegally, Jaywalk, Look in Bushes or otherwise make a Nuisance of Yourself!!. You will have to walk awhile from valid parking to all of the stages. The Goal is well outside Phoenix to the NorthWest. You will need a high clearance vehicle, but not necessarily a 4 wheel drive. Use your judgement! This is Private Land that belongs to my relatives. You are welcome here as long as you respect the land. It has seen alot of abuse. In fact if you carry trash out it's a Bonus!! Please be sure to take alot of Fun Pictures to upload!! (no spoilers please) Remember! This is supposed to be a Silly Quest!! There is a lot of good swag to be had at the Cache!!

You will have to bring your own ballpoint pen and paper to copy down the clues and co-ordinates (and sign the logs...pencils just won't do)!!!! The first 4 stages are small micro caches, while at the end is the standard ammo box. This is Arizona so please look before reaching into any likely hiding place. There may be spiders, scorpions, snakes, killer rabbits, Black Beasts, etc. And don't forget to bring plenty of water!! You are only allowed on the final property at your own risk!!! So be careful of the well and various cliff type objects. You will have to go cross country on foot for 1/4 mile or so.

Feel free to email us for further hints/spoilers (some of these will be hard!)....Now, Get on with It... GET ON WITH IT!!!
