Located on Prestwood Nature Reserve near
Prestwood and High Wycombe in Bucks, you can park nearby in a car
park and grab a short walk to this box of goodies.
This cache box was originally the
final box of the Orignal 2002 version of the Murder most horrid
multi-cache. However due it not working out first time around for
technical reasons, I have decided to make the final booty a new
cache in a new location!. Murder Most Horrid however has been
resurrected and has a new page
here, give this one a go if your feeling daring!
Prestwood Nature reserve is a smallish wooded area with a set
footpath going all the way round it. It is perfect for Bird
Spotting and has plenty of places for a pic-nic. Opened in 1993 as
a local nature project by the "Thames & Chilterns Team" it is
very peaceful, a great place to come and get away from it
all.
There have been many a butterfly spotted in these parts- Chalkhill
Blue, Grizzled & Dingy Skippers- are but two rare species that
have been spotted recently.
The cache is a massive tupperware container
and the view from the top of the hill is picturesque, be sure to
take it all in, also while in the area be sure to check out the
nearby Chilterns, many other caches to find and plenty of walks to
be had.
Enjoy!
