COORDINATES: The cache is NOT likely to be found at the
coordinates at the top of the page. They are just the center of its
range. Be sure to read the latest logs to see its current
location/status.
BACKGROUND: I'm an alien to the area and have enjoyed the
caches around here so much that I decided to leave something fun
for all the San Francisco geocachers. (Speaking of the caches I've
found, you won't see my name (26 Fe) in any of the area cache logs
because I found them using other life forms more suitable for
that.
REHIDING THE CACHE: When you rehide it, please keep it
within 10 miles of Nob Hill (coordinates above). This could
allow for some bridge crossing. (Click Here to see the Range Map.)
- Log your find and then rehide it on another iron-based object
in a public area.
- Do not log this as a find unless you are prepared to relocate
it, or your log may be deleted.
- After rehiding this cache, be sure to edit your find log (or
post a Note log) to include the new coordinates, and a clue, for
the new location.
HINTS & DIFFICULTY: When you log the new hiding spot,
be sure to give a little hint (you can encrypt your hint in your
log), and state the new difficulty and terrain ratings. Please keep
the difficulty and terrain ratings at or below 2.0.
RE-FINDS: You may find this cache more
than once, BUT to make it more sporting, you can't find it again
until after TWO OTHER people have found and rehidden
it.
Cachers from outside the area are VERY
WELCOME to participate. Just please don't take it away from the
designated area.
