If you visit a renowned restaurant in Hayden's Ferry (original name of a famous Arizona town), you will find a historical marker. This is visible from the sidewalk, and you can learn about the Rio Salado history. Please email us with the name of the town you are in, the date the ferry was established and how far in what direction was the ferry was from the marker.
In addition on the side of the Old House you can see when Charles T. Hayden built the original Old House. - This is optional but interesting if you like Arizona history.
