There is a short slippery way to the cache or a longer easy way.
Take your pick. If you go in the summer, keep a wary out for
bees.
I like these old power stations so I placed another cache near this
power generating station. The nearby building was built in 1910 to
provide electricity to the communities on the West side of the
Heber Valley. Unlike the Cannon in the Sky cache, this one is still
generating kilowatts from spring water up in Snake Creek Canyon. I
would like to take a closer look inside sometime. Enjoy the area
and check out the historic buildings you passed on the way to this
site. There are picnic facilites there as well. 2/9/03 I have moved
the cache to a new location closeby and updated the coordinates. I
think it's harder to find than it should be because of the canyon
walls and the trees. It may be harder yet in the summer because of
these factors. For example, I set a waypoint while directly above
the cache, then tried to find it. The GPS said it was 2-8 feet
away. So, I have picked a more prominent hiding place and have
provided more detail in the encrypted hint. A substantial snowstorm
will push this cache to a level 4 in difficulty.
7/7/09: My friend, pokernut, will be adopting this cache. If he has
not already found it, I want him to log it as a find whenever he
has a chance to find it. I know it's bad form to log your own
caches but in this case he is adopting it. Thanks. Scubadog
