Cumberland View Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Max Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or let it remain archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Tennessee Geocacher

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The Tank-Springs/Eagle-Bluff section of the Cumberland Trail offers the adventurous geocacher steep climbs, rocky terrain and some of the best views around. The climb is stiff so wear good boots and bring WATER and FOOD!!

The cache is a clear rubbermaid container with the "officical geocache" sticker affixed to the cover.
Inside you will find sealed in a ziplock bag the log book with assorted pens and pencils. In another bag you will find all sorts of useful and useless trinkets from light up noise making bouncey balls to gloves and lanyards.

This area is so very scenic that it would be a shame to stop here at the beginning. I suggest continuing on up the trail to the CT Rock Fin cache. The hike is worth it, cache or no.
