Indoors. No longer accessible by train.

Walk from nearest point is for cache-baggers only and can be very muddy - from Wivenhoe (shops and pubs) there is a pleasant (potentially loop) walk - Thorrington tide mill at the head of Alresford Creek has a summer-time car park.
