Geocache Description:

Along Muskegon Lake at the site of an old sawmill. Can be muddy. Follow West Western Avenue to the end, park on street by old warehouse and take railroad tracks west. Stay on shoulder of RR tracks (public property, soon to be a bike path!) until you get past the condominiums...

In the mid to late 1800s, Muskegon Lake was lined with sawmills - you can still see much of the sawed lumber washed up on the shore, and you can see the old pilings from the docks for the lumber boats.

This cache is in a clear container with a white top, and originally included:

Construction worker bobblehead figure
Red granite stone
Old radio tube
J. Jonah Jameson figure (from Spiderman!)
Sponge paintbrush
Pack of toothpicks
Yellow golfball
Construction flag
English pound coin
Floppy disk
Magnabloc magnet

Happy hunting!
