From the young hwy 288. Take FR203(cherry creek rd.). FR203 comes out on hwy 288 in two places. It is best to take the one by rooselvelt lake. It is allot smoother than the one on top. It is about 20 miles to the base of the canyon. The last few miles you will need a high clearence vehicle. There is a faint trail to follow from others hiking up the canyon. Stay in the bottom of the canyon untill your GPS tells you to go up to your right. You will then climb up steep loose rocks. You will not see the cave untill you're real close. If you're going in the cave be sure to bring plenty of light. Knee pads will be helpful for the areas that you will need to crawl. There are several different shafts so string maybe helpful from getting lost. And plan on getting dirty. To get credit for this cache. Scramble up the hill a couple hundred feet above cave and email me and describe what you see along the base of the cliff. I did however find a baby food jar at this location with several pieces of paper that hikers have been signing. Please leave only footprints and take only pictures and memories.
