Explore The Shores By Water
The Tuesday morning float event will take place on the water at the posted coordinates.When the warm weather hits, get out on the water with your favorite watercraft out for a float. Chestemere parks offer outstanding experiences for those who love to kayak, sail, canoe or boat. These all make for a great pieces of transportation to the event site! Prepare your vessel and hit the seas for a meetup at 10:00 A.M. Come Kayak, paddle board, canoe or boat and veiw the shores of Chestemere Lake. The event will take place on the water at the posted coordinates listed on the cache page.
The event lasts 30 minutes at the posted coordinates from 10:00 A.M to10:30 A.M and afterwards those that wish can paddle the shores.

Water safety kits should include and must be on board of vessle all times..
- Water bailing devices to remove water from inside the watercraft.
- A sound-signaling device (portable air horn, whistle, mechanical whistle or bell) to alert others of your approach, or in case of emergency.
- At least 15 metres of heaving rope, towing line or floating line to help pull your watercraft to safety.
- Waterproof LED flashlight and SOS mirror to call or signal for help in an emergency.
Public safety
- Approved life jackets or self-inflating personal floatation devices must be worn at all times while the boat is on the water.
- No drinking of alcohol.
