As some of you might know, PDXJim has been battling cancer for the past 2 years. While he is still able to get out geocaching right now, the doctors have told him that chemo and medication will no longer be of much help in arresting the disease. We know that many of you have been the beneficiaries of Jim's friendly help over the years, and we thought this might be a good opportunity to remind him of the many geocaching memories we all have of him.
He is always ready to share his experiences of a particular cache with better coordinates, finding hints, and descriptions of the cache itself. His enthusiasm for the sport has benefitted us all over the years, and his memory of caches always amazes me when he can describe a find he and I made months or even years ago and I can't remember some that we found last week!
If you are unable to attend, we are sure Jim would appreciate an email or message describing some of your own shared geocaching memories, and if any of you have any photos of PDXJim "out on the hunt" over the years, please feel free to post them in the gallery for all to enjoy.
