This event will be held on Saturday, March 29th from 10:00am - 11:30am.
There will be a safety briefing and waiver signing 10:00-10:10, and as needed for stragglers at the posted coords.
We decided to adopt a section of road in Parker. We were able to get this section of Mainstreet between Clarke Farms and Twenty Mile Road. We've committed to cleaning here once a month from April through September, and every other month October through March. We would love your help in keeping this area clean. After three successful cleanings, they will even add signage that we hope to include "Geocaching Colorado" on it as well. We will see how many characters they allow on these soon.
Provided: The Town of Parker will provide orange vests (required to participate), and trash bags. They will also pick up all of the bags afterwards. The hosts will provide a free raffle for one or two trackables after the event.
Bring: Yourself, your family, your friends, ready to work! Gloves, extra water and snacks, jeans are recommended too.
IMPORTANT
Waivers MUST be signed to participate, and will be provided on site.
Any minors (14-17) will need a waiver signed by the parent or guardian.
Minors (under the age of 14) cannot participate on the road section, but can help around posted coords.
We DO NOT clean in the median, or close to the edge of the road.
We DO NOT clean up any litter on the roadway.
NO pets along roadway for the cleanup, but if you have one you will be able to help near posted coords.
DO wear reflective vest (required for roadway areas)
DO wear light or bright clothing, hard-soled shoes and bring gloves.
DO HAVE FUN!
