This Event Cache is the Annual Utah GeoCacher Rendezvous.
In the old days of Caching (Trappers, Mountain Men, and the like) there would be, usually annually, a gathering of all the individuals working in a large area and they would play games, share stories, exchange goods, and just socialize. I imagine the spirits flowed a little, as well. In memorial, I am proposing the First Utah GEOcachers Rendezvous, to be held 13-14 July 2001.
I really hope lots of people can make it. I don't expect that I will need to provide directions - if you need them, you probably aren't much of a GeoCacher, and would feel out of place. :) Nevertheless, if you are humble enough to ask for them, I will accommodate you. At this point, suffice it to say that any car can make the trip easily. I live in Spanish Fork, and it is about 75 miles one-way from my home. The camping fee is $3.00 per vehicle per night.
I would really appreciate it if those of you who plan on attending this would place a log on this page, or contact me directly at dwallent34@yahoo.com. It's not necessary, but it would help me out a little to know how many to look forward to seeing.
