Geocache Description:


Established in 1837 by Louis Vasquez and Andrew Sublette. Maintained until 1842 as a post for trade in Buffalo Robes and Beaver skins with the Arapahoe and Cheyenne Indians. To log this cache e-mail us the answers to these questions.
#1..Who rebuilt the fort in 1935-36? (on sign in north parking lot)
#2..How many gunports are in the North wall of the Fort?
(between the corner towers).
#3..North of the fort is a sculpture of a Buffalo! What is the name of this piece of art and what is the name of the sculptor?

The Museum hours listed on the sign are, 9:00 to 4:30 Wed. thru Sun. Closed Mon. and Tues. Admission is $1.00. You don't need to visit the museum to log this cache but it is quite interesting! Have fun.
