Nearly 25 years ago, in America, after the successful deactivation of GPS degradation, Dave Ulmer had the idea of hiding Tupperware containers in the woods, unaware of what he was about to set in motion. Today, 25 years later, there are over 3 million active geocaches and nearly as many geocachers around the world.
The location
The activeplayground in Farmsen is an ideal venue for the celebration, as it allows us to host larger crowds without much bureaucratic hassle. Additionally, there are plenty of other geocaches nearby to keep everyone entertained during the event.
Getting There
Parking in the immediate vicinity is rather difficult to find. There are two free P+R parking lots nearby, which are listed among the waypoints. Otherwise, you will need to try parking in the surrounding area. Please park fairly.
For those using public transportation, take the U1 line to the Farmsen station, which is half-kilometer walk from the venue.
The Event
The main event will take place at Sunday 23rd of March 2025 between 09:00 AM and 03:00 PM. The Sideevents you can find on the left.
Please add to your will attend Log at your number of participants, so we can plan easierly.
Entrance
Visit the event is free. At the entrance there will be a voluntary fee of 1 Euro, if you want to support the event.

- Guided tours of Ohlsdorf Cemetery

- Plenty of Labcaches
Depending on the number of registrations, more activities will certainly be added.
Miscellaneous
Food and drinks will be provided. Of course, toilets are available on the event grounds.
