The first meeting of Georgia geocachers was held on June 9, 2001, which makes it the OLDEST geocaching club in the WORLD!
Today, the Georgia Geocachers Association is having its -23rd- annual birthday event and returning to the site of the 10th anniversary event - Lost Mountain Park!
Join us from 1:00pm - 3:00pm to reminisce, meet other cachers, make new friends, and of course - Celebrate!
Here are a few of the fun activities of the day:
- Announcements - yep!
- Raffle and prizes - for sure!
- Geocoins and Pathtags - likely!
- Silent auction - definitely maybe!
- Scavenger hunt - definitely maybe!
- Geocaches - plenty of those nearby!
- More fun TBD!
