14th June - Mending Fences at Hucclecote Cache In Trash Out Event

🌳🌿  FENCE REPAIRING AND PATH TRIMMING  🌿🌳

Parking: There is some on-street parking opposite Hucclecote Meadows Reserve on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).

Where: Meet up at 09:30 by the main entrance to the Reserve (see reference point) or after that find us working in the far SSSI field (main coordinates).

What: Join us as we repair fences around the reserve and build a new refuge for the kissing gate. There are also footpaths to trim should you prefer.

How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring your own gardening gloves if possible and feel free to bring your own shears and secateurs if you wish. Don't worry if you don't have them as the Ranger will have a supply.

Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. 

Please think about bringing a hot/cold drink for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided!
