Come join us at Grovetown Lagoon to lend a hand at recreating Big Bush around the Lagoon. This is a family friendly event. We hope to give some native plants a forever home, but there is always something to do - releasing plants from weeds, eradicating Old Mans Beard, mulching plants. We will be joining the GTL working bee.
The Grovetown Lagoon blue flag will mark our start place either at posted co-ords or at the walking bridge back down the road.
As we are joining Grovetown Lagoon Working Bee, PLEASE sign the GTL attendance register, required for Health and Safety reasons.
We will have some tools available, but suggest you bring gardening gloves and gumboots as some areas are very boggy. A BBQ is being organised by GTL after the working bee. Great if you can stay around so we can catch up.
A walk around the lagoon is well worth the effort - approx 1 hour ( 3.5 km).
