We may need a little extra help in the energy and physical force aspects as we do our part to clean up one of the local Idaho Falls cemeteries. This will be a CITO event in cooperation with the Idaho Falls Parks & Recreation, Cemetery Division.
Throughout May of each year they make an effort to clean up all the local cemeteries and parks in anticipation of visitors to the community over Memorial Day (end of May). An important part of that annual clean up is raking up all the tree droppings (leaves, pine cones, branches). Any other tidy up jobs can be done also.
Without community volunteers the goal would virtually be improbable to meet. They were excited to be introduced to geocaching, and are very happy to work with us towards our other endeavors.
Additional notes:
Time: 9:04 a.m. until ll:04 a.m. or longer if people want to stay (arrive any time, stay as long as you can)
# of hours worked will be reported to the City which may help them obtain grants or better understand the hours required to accomplilsh their goals.
