Elvaston Castle Country Park has a problem with the weed "Himalayan Balsam". Help solve the problem by coming along to this "Balsam Bash". Tools and instruction will be provided by the Park Rangers, all you need bring is yourself and a pair of gardening gloves. The Country Park is providing free car parking in the staff/disabled car park adjacent to Elvaston Castle itself, but please share cars if possible as space is limited. We will meet in the 'Shop Courtyard' below the clock tower, by the 'carriage wash'. The Park Rangers will explain what needs to be done and will lead us to the sites in the park that need attention, so please be prompt in arriving.
At 12:30h we are planning the release of a new cache or two within the park!
