It's CITO season and this year we get the opportunity to help at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine and Museum (2122 O'Day Road, Fort Wayne, IN) on National Superhero Day. Meet after your Sunday brunch and before you give in to an afternoon nap! There are several projects awaiting us to help prep the grounds for summer events. The museum will provide the supplies needed but you may want to bring your own gloves. We may be laying landscape fabric and pea gravel or mulch, raking leaves, doing light trimming, or generally crossing jobs off the 'to do' list. Many hands make light work, plus there will be refreshments and you can explore the museum and grounds when done.
In addition to the veteran heros this museum honors, you may find a caching superhero, and there are a couple great Adventure Labs waiting for you.
