Attending a Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event is a great way to meet new geocaching friends and to help give back to the areas where we play. For this CITO, we will meet next to Woodland Park where there are a couple new geocaches (bring your TOTT!). We will be picking up litter along the trail, Aurora Avenue, or within the park itself.
This month's event:
- Date/Time: Sunday, May 5, 4:00-5:30pm
- Location: Woodland Park and Aurora Avenue
- Parking: Parking on neighborhood streets, or across the street in Woodland Park
I will bring all the supplies needed - bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and safety vests. Please log your "Will Attend" so I bring enough supplies. I look forward to seeing everyone.
This is the weekend that we celebrate "Blue Switch Day", the day that geocaching became possible because accurate GPS technology was now available to the public. So you will have the chance to earn the Blue Switch Day 2024 souvenir, as well as the CITO Season 1 souvenir, if you haven't earned them already!
This event is possible because of the City of Seattle's Adopt-a-Street program. The City of Seattle provides the supplies, and we supply the people power.
