Time for a quarterly gathering where we can share some past caching adventure tales and make plans for future ones.
Plus there is this added bonus feature if you would like to participate (not required for attendance) -
If you submit to me that between April 1-June 30, 2024 you have found caches with five different Difficulty ratings and five different Terrain ratings, you will have a ballot entered for a random draw of a BCP (Barely Coveted Prize) at this event.
- At least one cache must have been found in Essex County, Ontario
- At least one cache must be an Event cache
- you can submit this event as your one required if you attend since it is being held within the required dates.
- One cache can qualify you for both a unique Difficulty rating AND Terrain rating - so you could fulfill the requirements with as few as five caches, or as many as nine caches.
- For instance, if you submit the April 6 Adventures Awaited Event, that would give you a 1 Difficulty and a 1 Terrain.
- If you find Hypothetical Cache with a 1/1.5 rating, you could submit it for the 1.5 Terrain only, since the Event already took the 1 Difficulty.
- the 1.5 ratings are different from the 1.0 rating. Your five could be 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 if you like.
- But if you also find Hypothetical River Cache with a 5/5 rating, that would qualify you for both Difficulty and Terrain.
- Again, all caches submitted must have been found by you between April 1 and June 30, 2024.
Submissions are preferred in your "Will Attend" log, but I will accept them on paper at the event or in chat messages.
Please include the GC codes, the D/T rating, and the date found for the caches you submit.
NOTE - Attendance at event not required to be eligible for the draw.
