Geocache Description:

21 April 2024, 13:00 - 14:00

Spring CITO

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 600,000 people have volunteered at over 33,000 Events.

Actions often speak louder than words. By participating in a CITO Event, whether by collecting trash, planting trees, or crafting new homes for pollinators, we make our world a better place. Each CITO we attend is a testament to care: care for others, our communities, and our planet.

We attempted to clean up this area five months ago with the IE Chapter Fall CITO; however, it snowed several inches on the eve of the event and thus the trash was covered with snow. Now is our chance to try again, hopefully with better weather this time.
