There's nothing on the City of Albuquerque Open Space calendar this year, so let's do something ourselves.
No snacks and no prize drawings at the end, but we can start later and end earlier. Any time you can spend helps, so don't worry if you can't come the entire time.
Garbage bags and water will be provided. I will also bring non-latex plastic gloves. Bring extra water, gloves, grabbers, and buckets if you want them. Sun protection and closed-toe footwear are a must as there are no shade trees on this side of the hill and cacti and other thorny plants abound.
Dog waste is the most common pick up here, but somebody's gotta care.
Posted coordinates are the parking at the east end of Menaul Blvd. It's busy on Saturdays.
